Biography
Prof. Anand K .Halve (born June,1955) completed his B.Sc., (1973), M.Sc., (1975) in Organic Chemistry and Ph.D. from A.P.S University, Rewa (M.P.) in 1979. He then worked in Research & Development Centre of Union Carbide India Limited, Bhopal as Research Scientist till 1987. Prof. Halve was Asst. Prof. of Chemistry in Govt. Colleges of M.P. (1988-1993). He joined the School of Studies in Chemistry, Jiwaji University, Gwalior (M.P.) in Nov. 1993 as a Senior Lecturer. He then became a Reader in 1998 and subsequently selected as Professor in 2006. Prof. Halve has published more than 40 research papers in National and International Journals. He has completed several projects from UGC, ICMR, DRDE and MPCST. He has guided 10 Ph.D. and 13 M.Phil students. Currently, a number of research students are working under his supervision.

Biography
I am Aman Kumar, a microbiologist specializing in molecular biology and immunology, with a focus on infectious diseases. Since January 2024, I’ve worked as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at ICMR-RMRIMS Patna, conducting research on visceral leishmaniasis. My expertise includes developing PCR assays, performing ELISA, and handling animal models like BALB/c mice, Golden hamsters, and rabbits for experimental studies.
I hold a Master’s in Applied Microbiology from Banaras Hindu University (2023). My dissertation, "Effect of Cd-resistant rhizobacteria on growth performance of Lady’s finger (Abelmoschus esculentus L.) plants," explored plant-microbe interactions in environmental microbiology.
Committed to advancing research in parasitology and immunology, I aim to contribute to impactful discoveries that address global health challenges.

Biography
Aparna Kumari, a final year M.Sc. Biotechnology student at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Department of Bioengineering and Biotechnology, Ranchi (835215). I am currently pursuing my dissertation in use of biofilm in azo dye decolourization. I am inclined to microbiology field specially focused on use of microbes for bioremediation. I have done my internship at ICMR, RMRIMS for 3 months under Microbiology department of the institute on tools and techniques used in Visceral Leshmaniasis.
I have done my Bachelor's in zoology at Shri Arvind Mahila College, Patna (800004). My expertise in microbiology extends in understanding microbial physiology, pathogenesis, and industrial applications, including bioremediation and fermentation technology.
In analytical tools, I have experience in spectrophotometry, chromatography, electrophoresis, and microscopy- skills crucial for accurate quantification and characterization of biomolecules.
In molecular biology I have hands on experience in PCR, electrophoresis, and recombinant DNA technology.
Driven by scientific curiosity and hands-on experience, I aim to contribute meaningfully to research and development in biotechnology and life sciences. -

I am Akanksha Sinha, a postgraduate student of Biotechnology at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. With a strong foundation in microbiology, molecular biology, and bioinformatics, I have developed hands-on expertise in laboratory techniques such as PCR, cell culturing, and ELISA. My current research focuses on identifying antifungal drug resistance and virulence genes in Fusarium solani using an ex vivo caprine cornea model. I have also interned at ICMR-RMRIMS and the Forensic Science Laboratory, Patna, gaining experience in parasitological and forensic investigations. Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to innovative research, I strive to integrate theory with practical solutions in real-world applications.

Prof Ajay Kumar MishraMSc, MPhil, PhD, CSci, FRSC is a Full Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Durban University of Technology (DUT). He is NRF C2 rated scientist and an experienced science educator with 20+ years of research/teaching experience at various institution in South Africa and DUT. Prof Mishra have been the group leader of the Nanomaterials, Nanocomposites and wastewater research group with a strong national, international and industrial collaborations. Prof Mishra has published more than 160 papers in peer-reviewed international journals and also represented in 150+ or more papers in various conferences. He has edited more than 35+ books and contributed over 65 book chapters in various peer reviewed edited books by established publishers. He has also delivered more than 119 plenary/keynote/invited/guest lectures in various research institutions/universities/ conferences/seminars/workshops. Prof Mishra has hosted many international visiting researchers and visited several universities globally. He has successfully graduated 13 PhD’s, 22 Master’s students. Recently, Prof Mishra have been named on a list of the top 2% of the most-cited scientists in various disciplines globally (2019-2022).
Prof He has attained considerable national and international recognition, as well as awards including “Fellow member” and “Chartered Scientist” by Royal Society of Chemistry, UK and Chancellor’s Prize (Unisa) for excellent achievement in research. Prof. Mishra also serving as Associate Editor as well as member of the editorial board of many peer-reviewed international journals and books and scientific societies.
