This policy follows CrossRef FundRef guidance and requirements from major funding bodies including UKRI, NIHR, NIH, and the European Commission Horizon programme.
All accepted manuscripts must include a Funding Statement immediately before the References section. This statement must:

Funding information is deposited with CrossRef via the Funder Registry. Authors should use funder names exactly as they appear in the CrossRef Funder Registry to ensure accurate attribution.
